VISION

A community impacting eternity.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew‬ ‭28:19‬ AMP)

“So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” (Acts‬ ‭2:46-47‬ NKJV)

CORE VALUES

The Presence of God in all we do

The Presence of God in all we do

God desires to be with His people always and apart from Him we can do nothing. “The Lord replied, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest—everything will be fine for you.” Then Moses said, “If you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place. How will anyone know that you look favorably on me—on me and on your people—if you don’t go with us? For your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all other people on the earth.” (Exodus 33:14)

Equal Value of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit

Equal Value of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit

Equal Value of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit originally moved upon men’s heart to pen the Scriptures. The only way to personally receive the supernatural life of God’s Word for our lives is for the Holy Spirit to breathe it again into our hearts. “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” (John 14:26)

The Worth and Value of Every Human Being

The Worth and Value of Every Human Being

There is an intrinsic worth and value placed by God on every human being – saved or lost, young or old, rich or poor, whatever ethnic background. This causes us to strive to treat one another with respect and honor.

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.” (John 3:16 AMP)

Forgiveness and Restoration, and Reconciliation

Forgiveness Restoration, and Reconciliation

Forgiveness and Restoration, and Reconciliation

The salvation of God not only provides forgiveness, but also restoration and reconciliation. This is a “No Perfect People Allowed!” church.

“It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but canceling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor).” (2 Corinthians 5:19 AMPC)

God’s Purpose and Plan for Our Lives

God’s Purpose and Plan for Our Lives

There is a purpose and plan in God’s heart for each one of us and He desires for us to discover and experience that plan.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10 NIV)
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” (Hebrews 12:1 NIV)

We Live for God, Not Ourselves

We Live for God, Not Ourselves

We understand and accept our responsibility to pass faith in Christ to our children and our children’s children. We live for God and the generations yet to come, running our race well and successfully handing the baton to the next generation. So that, when we are in Heaven, God’s Church is alive and well in Corpus Christi, TX.

“And He died for all, so that all those who live might live no longer to and for themselves, but to and for Him Who died and was raised again for their sake.” (2 Corinthians 5:15 AMP)
